Who’s does not know about social media? An online tools that allows every user to communicate, share information, build relationships, both in text, image, audio and video, with all other users throughout the hemisphere. Social media which slowly transforms become very important and become unpleased from human life. In fact, the status of social media which can now be aligned with other primary needs.

With various kinds of profits offered by social media, it has not been able to cover the side effects brought from social media. One of the interesting cultures to be discussed is culture of showing off. Culture showing off which was once considered taboo and less ethical, began to improve himself and now it was considered ordinary.

It is undeniable, social media is created to show off. Level of frets, there is the difference. In a further context, social media actually has more negative influences. Fear, hatred, legacy, even war came from there. Social media becomes very terrible and at the same time it is very necessary, as we cannot live without it.

But, I tried it. I deactivated my account for a week, and guess what happened, I’m not dying, I’m still alive.

Social media becomes an obsession. Many people post their daily lives every time, every second, even though no one cares. You are not an actress / actor / or famous people. And when I said that, he answered, this is my life. Yeah, it’s your holy glory life. I also saw someone who look like Papa Jesus on social media, but in the reality he was the other way. Like a child of demon.

Specifically, I don’t reject that. The world does look like it forces us to do that. But unfortunately, we live in the world, not world wide web. I refuse when we just throw away reality.

You know a lot of things around the world, but you forget what is happening around you, who are the people around you, and what you should do here. Think about that.

You show how awesome you are in virtual world, while you are actually making troubles to people around you.

We lose time, interaction, position, and even honor. Open your eyes and start living the real life.

Social media, we can’t leave it, and I know that. But it doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice around, right?! So at the time, I pretty agree with Jokowi’s statement about mental revolution. I’m not talking about politics. Mental revolution is needed. Revolutionizing ourself and positioning it equal to the current state of the world.

Therefore, Jokowi must indeed be given the opportunity of two periods to fully realize his promise. Because between time and things to change someone must be balanced. Well, this is politics.

As an end, what I say is all hopefully reality will not be turned into fantasy. Nah.
